Justin joined Yeovil Accident Repair in March 2022, starting his journey with us as a Workshop Controller. From the outset, Justin embraced the opportunity to work within our business, and it quickly became clear that his skills, dedication, and people-focused approach set him apart. Within a short space of time, he was promoted to Bodyshop Manager.

Justin has spent his entire career in the automotive industry; however, this role marked his first experience working at a site that collaborates closely with insurance companies while also managing private repair work. This has provided him with a valuable and rewarding learning experience, allowing him to broaden his expertise and develop new skills.

What is your job title?

My job title is Bodyshop Manager. My main responsibilities include looking after the team and the site, ensuring everything is safe, secure, and operating efficiently. I also make sure we have the correct tools in place and that they meet required standards. Another key part of my role is maintaining our brand approvals. We currently hold four approvals, and I am responsible for ensuring we consistently work to each brand’s standards.

What made you want to work for an Accident Repair Centre?

I’ve always been passionate about the automotive industry, and working in accident repair gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge while taking on new challenges within a fast-paced environment.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I really enjoy working with people and supporting them in their learning and development. I’m very people-orientated and down to earth, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see individuals achieve their best. I believe communication is key, along with kindness and support.

I also enjoy the challenges that come with the business, it keeps every day different and gives a real sense of achievement. Looking after both our team and our customers is important to me, and I take pride in ensuring customers are happy when they trust us with their vehicles.

What’s great about working for Yeovil Accident Repair?

The team. We work well together and support each other, which helps everyone perform at their best.

What has been the best experience of your career so far?

Being recognised for my hard work and being promoted into management roles. It’s a great confidence boost and feels very rewarding. I’ve also met some fantastic people along the way.

What challenges do you face in your role?

At Yeovil Accident Repair, we work to specific timescales and repair cycles to ensure we meet our targets. Balancing these requirements while keeping everything on track is challenging, but it’s also what makes the role so engaging.

What are your future career goals?

I’m continuing to adapt to new processes within the company and look forward to implementing positive changes throughout 2026. Targets are always evolving, which means I always feel motivated and all the new developments that happen within the business help us grow not only as a site but as a team.

Tell us something interesting about you!

I’m a real car and vehicle enthusiast. I have my own workshop at home and own classic campervans and motorcycles. I enjoy modifying Volkswagens and Lambretta scooters and I’m part of a Triumph owners’ group. We regularly meet up, and I love the social side of being out and about and meeting new people.

We’re very lucky to have Justin as part of the team at Yeovil Accident Repair and we look forward to seeing the workshop continue to evolve and develop throughout 2026.
